In the R41 typeface collection, 'Gothic' typefaces have always been very popular. For this reason, Aldo Novarese was asked in 1988 for a customised typeface belonging to the so-called 'medieval' family, but capable of completely innovating their classical forms. 

With much study, Aldo Novarese succeeded perfectly in his intent, imagining a typeface with a classic appearance but at the same time irresistibly new forms, managing to combine tradition and experimentation.
